VEV Vintage EV offers car rentals in style without the emissions. Fully converted to electric vintage cars for a day out in style on Waiheke Island, an island just off the coast of Auckland, New Zealand. 1970 MGB GT
Our first VEV car available for rental is a beautiful MGB converted by our New Zealand partner. The MGB GT has been converted to electric using a Hyper 9 motor and Tesla batteries. Find out more about what it’s like driving this beauty on the MGB GT page.
How to get behind the wheel
Step 1
Check availability on the booking calendar.
Currently we have one EV available on Friday, Saturday and Sundays on Waiheke Island.
Step 2
Book your day, and confirm pick up location and time with us.
Typically we will meet you at the ferry terminal.
Step 3
Drive away and enjoy your day on Waiheke in a truly stylish car with all the fun and none of the emissions!
